ARMS 2025: And that’s a wrap!

The ResearchMaster team has recently returned from our sojourn to the 2025 Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) Conference.

Hundreds of research management professionals descended upon the Pullman Hotel in Albert Park for a packed conference. We took the opportunity to catch up with our industry colleagues and to unveil the latest iteration of ResearchMaster Enterprise, RME8. Our new user interface was particularly well-received: the promise of ResearchMaster’s market-leading functionality combined with an uplifted user experience created a stir among visitors to our booth!

At our lunch and learn session, we were delighted to create a space for research administrators from Australian universities to present insights into current challenges for the research sector. We had Renee Estrella from the University of Technology Sydney discussing how ResearchMaster’s Costing and Pricing Tool helps the research office invest in more and better research, and Floris van der Leest at the University of the Sunshine Coast providing insight into the most responsible use of AI for our industry.

Across the wider conference, we were privileged to have a wide array of conversations with our stand visitors and fellow exhibitors that further contextualised the current higher education and research landscape for us. These conferences are always a valuable opportunity for networking and discovering more about what matters to research administrators.

Of course, we know not everyone can make it to every conference. If you’d like to find out more about ResearchMaster’s best-of-breed products and solutions, or if you’d like to be notified the next time we host a user forum, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us here.
